How to get more search results on first page of Google

GET MORE SEARCH RESULTS ON FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE SEARCH

If you search
www.google.com while you
are logged in to Google you
have the option to change the
“Number of Results” that are
returned per page. Here’s
how to do that:
1. Go to www.google.com
2. While logged in, click on
the gear icon in the top
right of the browser
(next to your name) and
click “Search settings”.
Google Search Settings
3. On the Global
Preferences page, scroll
down to “Number of
Results” and change the
dropdown value. Note
10 is the default value
and 10, 20, 30, 50, and
100 are the available
options.

Page
4. Click the “Save
Preferences” button in
the bottom right of the
page.
You can now return to Google
Search and search with your
configured settings.
Add a search parameter
to the URL
The second option to change
the number of results per
page is to add a parameter to
the URL of your Google
Search. You may want to do it
this way for a number of
reasons:
You aren’t signed in to
Google
You aren’t searching from
your computer
You only want to change
the results for this query,
not all searches
You want to display a
number of results not
provided in Google’s
search settings
The first thing you must do is
go to www.google.com and
conduct the search. The SERP
(search engine results page)
will return and then you can
add the parameter to the
URL. Then at the end of the
URL add the following
&num=xx
where xx is the number of
results you want to display
(i.e. &num=75)
Press enter to execute the
search again with your results
per page request. This will
reload the Google search and
display xx results per page.
